The power of love

It is near Christmas now and I had the inspiration to watch one of my favourite Christmas movies, Home Alone.

The story is basically about this boy called Kevin who is left at home alone when his famly forgets him and goes for a holiday at Paris. They only realise this on board the plane and the mother blames herself and tries all ways and means t get back to America but finds it hard because it is the holiday period and all flights are booked.

I was watching until this scene where the Kevin's mother sells her Rolex, earrings and ring among other stuff she has to convince people to let her get back to America to find her son. It is a very touching scene, the love and sacrifice of a mother. The power of love is indeed undeniable.

In fact, this is a very good movie with the sequel also just as good. These two movies serve to remind us of how fragile we humans are and how much we need the support and love of one another.
